Cecil T. Hastings Sr. LAUREL - Cecil T. Hastings Sr., of Laurel, died on Aug. 31, 2009, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. He was born in Laurel, son of the late Roy and Bessie Hastings. He retired from Boulevard Motors after 20 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Gravenor Hastings; a son, Cecil Hastings Jr. of Laurel; a daughter, Crystal Lowe of Laurel; and his grandchildren, Adam and Christian Lowe. A Funeral Service was Friday, Sept. 4, at the First Baptist Church of Laurel. The Pastor Mitchell Prosser officiated. Interment followed in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Contributions can be made in Mr. Hastings memory to First Baptist Church of Laurel, 32631 Bi-State Blvd., Laurel, DE 19956. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, Laurel.
