The fact that Delaware imports most of its energy is because we have done everything to eliminate existing generators to upgrade and continue. But doing so doesn’t further renewables, which cannot match the economics without taxpayer subsidies.
Renewables are being forced on us as the only option and only because of the demonstrably flawed reasoning that we need them to control climate change. This must end, and I am hopeful that, with the change in administration in Washington, D.C., it will.
