Catherine May Moor, 91 DOVER - Catherine May Moor, 91, of Dover, passed away Friday August 1, 2008 in Silverlake Nursing Center, Dover. She was born on Sept. 11, 1916, in Leipsic, to the late John and Mae Pearl Hutchison Carey. Mrs. Moor was a member of People's United Church of Christ. She spent her life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She also spent her life lovingly caring for other children. Mrs. Moor enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers. Mrs. Moor is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Moor Jr.; two brothers, Fred and Wilson Carey, and one son-in-law, John I. Webb III. She is survived by son and his wife, William C. and Margaret Moor of Dover , son, Charles A. Moor III of Dover; daughter, Catherine M. Webb of Gilbertsville, Pa.; daughter and her husband, Elizabeth "Betty" and Edwin Luhrman of Dover; grandsons, Kevin Moor, Stephen Webb; granddaughters, Sharon Webb, Nancy Webb; grandson, Edwin C. Luhrman; granddaughters, Jill Luhrman, Melinda Cox; grandsons, Matthew Moor, Anderson Moor; a sister, Mary Willis, Dover; a brother, Franklin Carey, Dover ; seven great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law Helen M. Singleton of Dover, and one special friend-like daughter, Betty Lou Baker. Special thanks to the staff and aids at Silver Lake Center especially three wonderful aids, Sybil, Celeste, and Denise, and all associated with Vitas Innovative Hospice Care. Graveside services and burial were Thursday August 7, 2008, in the Odd Fellows Cemetery Camden. The family request that memorial contributions be given to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 100 Commerce Drive, Suite 302, Newark, DE 19733 and/or People's United Church of Christ 46 South Bradford Street Dover, DE 19901.
