Catherine Marie Jackson

Jackson, 78 HENDERSON, MD - Catherine Marie Jackson passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 at Bayhealth Kent General in Dover. She was born on Aug. 25, 1938 in Denver, Colo. to the late Virgil and Goldie Pierce Ewing. Catherine was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was a long time member of the Tops and the Henderson Homemakers. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Jackson; sons, Kevin Jackson and Donald Jackson; and brothers, Jerry Ewing and Keith Ewing. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Shelton and husband Douglas of Sandtown, Pamla S. Jackson of Henderson, and Brenda Jackson of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter-in-law, Shirley Jackson of Henderson, Md.; grandchildren, Brandy Poore, Robin Strattman, Katie Lacaillade and Brandon McCormack; great-grandchildren, Kayla Poore, Leland Poore, Andrew Strattman and Madison Strattman; sisters, Eva L. Kile and Lila Mae Schneider; and brother, Arthur Ewing. A visitation for Catherine will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Saturday, Feb. 4th, 2017 at Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, Feb. 6 in the funeral home. The interment will follow the service at 1:00 P.M. at Eastern Shore Veteran's Cemetery, Hurlock, Md.
