LINCOLN – Catherine H. Morgan passed away at Bayhealth/Milford Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017. Catherine was born in Talleyville, Del, daughter of the late Peter and Florence (Kelley) Halfen. Catherine was a homemaker and enjoyed baking and working in the yard. She was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church of God. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Morgan, Sr., and a son, David W. Morgan. She is survived by two children, Richard Morgan, Jr., and wife Debi, and Sharon Trentzsch, all of Lincoln; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; two brothers, Ralph Halfen and wife Joan, of N.J., and Harry Halfen and wife Betty, of Prime Hook Beach; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 at 12:00p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, with visitation after 11:00a.m. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Catherine's memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
