Casimir Carl Kowalick, 84
DOVER - Casimir Carl Kowalick of Dover, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, in Kent General Hospital. He was 84. Mr. Kowalick was born April 3, 1924, in Gilberton, Pa., to the late Carl and Mary Kowalick. Mr. Kowalick was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy and then in the Marines. He was a millwright for General Foods retiring in 1991. Mr. Kowalick was a member of American Legion Post 2 Walter L. Fox, the BPO 1903 Elks Lodge and Holy Cross Catholic Church all in Dover. He was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather. Mr. Kowalick enjoyed playing his harmonica, singing, fishing and being with friends and family. He was preceded in death in death by his son, Frank C. Kowalick in 1975; his daughter; Donna Marie Robertson in 1992; three sisters; and seven brothers. Mr. Kowalick is survived by his wife of 56 years, Frances Sadusky Kowalick of Dover; his son, Raymond Kowalick and his wife Kathy of Dover; his daughter, Ann Louise Conroy and her husband William of Lost Creek, Pa.; his sister, Eleanor Gomosky of Frackville, Pa.; sister-in-law, Marie Sadusky of Dover; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, in Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, in St. Casimir's Catholic Church, 229 N. Jardin Street, Shenandoah, PA 17976. Burial will be in the St. Casimir's Church Cemetery. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at
