Carrie A.M. Lynch, 49 CLAYTON - Carrie A.M. Lynch, of Clayton, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at home. She was 49. Ms. Lynch was born Sept. 20, 1960, in Wilmington, to the late Harry and Mary Lynch. She was a homemaker and enjoyed the beach, being outdoors, fishing, Redskins football, poetry, cooking. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frances Smallwood; her sister, Mary Sue Holman; and brother, Anthony Freeman. She is survived by her son, Thomas Hammond of Clayton; three daughters, Melissa Hammond of Florida, Gina DiAngelo of Baltimore, Md., and Crystal Childs of South Carolina; brother, Frederick Lynch of Bear; sister, Theresa Buckingham of Clayton; and nine grandchildren. Services will be 6 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at the Immanuel Union United Methodist Church, 67 Main Street, Cheswold. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral costs. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
