OKEECHOBEE - Carolyn Steele Dixon died May 12, 2015. She was born September 25, 1935 in Wabash, Indiana to Rufus and Rosalynd Kaufman. She was an arts and crafts supervisor for the U.S. Navy. She enjoyed arts, crafts, painting and sewing. Mrs. Dixon is survived by her husband of ten years, Charlie Dixon of Okeechobee; and her brother, Jerry Kaufman of California. No services will be held at this time.
