Carole Ellen Richardson

MAGNOLIA - Carole Ellen Richardson, of Magnolia, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Kent General Hospital. She was 68. She was born Jan. 24, 1943, in Wilmington, to the late Norman Reynolds and Mary Ellen Ferimore Reynolds. Mrs. Richardson had worked as a hair dresser for 30 years in several salons, Country Curl, Creative Shears and Unisex in the Dover Mall. She had owned and operated many antique shops, "Old Attic", Hidden Treasures, Unique Treasures and Pot Luck. Mrs. Richardson was a member of the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post #2 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Don Robinson; brother, Donny Robinson; and stepson, Jimmy Richardson. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, William T. Richardson of Magnolia; sons, Ricky Cochran of Smyrna, Jimbob Cochran and his wife Amber of Hartly, Kevin Richardson of Clarksville, Tenn.; daughters, Sheri Booth of Salisbury, Md., Tina Wills and her husband Don of Felton; brothers, Drew Reynolds and his wife Cookie of Orlando, Fla., Gary Reynolds and his wife Dari of Oxford, Pa.; sister, Cathy Nash and her husband Bud of Laurel; and nine grandchildren, Brandon, Morgan, Nevaeh, Tatiana, Stefan, Jimmy, Michael, Patrick, and Kevin. Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to National Fibromyalgia Association, A non-profit 501 (C)(3) organization, 2121 S. Towne Centre, Suite 300, Anaheim, CA 92806.
