MILFORD - Carla "Clara" Reed, of Milford, passed away at the Delaware Hospice Center on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011. She was 62. Carla was preceded in death by her parents, Gilmore Reed, and Sarah Smith; a brother, Richard Reed. Carla is survived by two daughters, Pamela and Melissa; a son, Paul; four sisters, Carolyn Akin and her husband Harry of Dover, Mary Craig of Clayton, Gilda Foraker and her husband Myrle of Pearland, Texas, and Sarah Moody of Camden; a brother, Paul Reed and his wife Marlyn of Smyrna; and many loving nieces and nephews and their families. A funeral service will be 7 p.m., this evening, Dec. 14, at the Grace Presbyterian Church, 13 Pennington Street, Middletown, where friends may call from 6 to 7p.m. Interment will be private in Townsend Cemetery.
