Carl Burke

SMYRNA - Carl Burke passed away Nov. 30, 2011, in the Governor Bacon Health Center, Delaware City. He was 82. Carl was born on Dec. 9, 1928, in Waterbury, Conn., son of the late Andrew and Adel Burke. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII. Carl is survived by his sister, Grace Kishalonis of Harrisburg, Pa.; and six children, Raymond Burke, Neil R. Burke, John Burke, Brian Burke, Mary Ann Goheen, and Debra Siggins, all of Reading, Pa.; and eight grandchildren. Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 5, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro. Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
