Camden man dies from injuries in two-vehicle crash

DOVER — A 50-year-old Camden man died from injuries suffered  in a two-vehicle crash late Friday, Dover Police spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.

Police said the man was driving a Toyota Corolla that was struck by a northbound Buick Century at approximately 11:30 p.m. The Toyota was making a left turn from southbound North DuPont Highway in the 800 block near a McDonalds at the time, police said.

The man was transported to Bayhealth Kent Campus for treatment and was later pronounced dead, police said. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.

Police said the driver of the Buick refused medical treatment.

Police asked anyone with information on the incident to call 302-736- 7130.
