Sergeant Antoine Patton of the Cambridge Police Department was recognized recently by the Dorchester County NAACP. Sgt. Patton was presented with the Service Award at the recent Dr. Martin Luther King prayer breakfast. The Rev. Emanuel Johnson spoke at the breakfast, and three children read their essays on how we can build on Dr. King’s dream. Chief Dan Dvorak said of Sgt. Patton, “they couldn’t have found a more deserving person this year.” Congratulations Sgt. Antoine! Pictured are Cambridge Police Chief Dan Dvorak, Sgt. Antoine Patton, and Cambridge Mayor Victoria Jackson-Stanley.
