Mayor Victoria Jackson-Stanley presented Certificates of Appreciation “for years of dedication and commitment to the citizens of Cambridge” to police personnel who had achieved milestones in years of service. In a brief ceremony at city hall, the mayor presented awards to:
Community Police Officer Joseph H. Jones III - 10 years of service; First Sergeant John R. Lewis - 15 years of service; and Police Communications Officer II Samuel B. Yockey - 30 years of service.
The mayor said she is very proud of them for their years of service and appreciates all they do day in and day out to serve the visitors and residents of Cambridge.
