CAMBRIDGE – On April 4, a jury sitting in the Circuit Court for Dorchester County convicted Antoine Stevenson, 32, of attempted first degree murder, attempted second degree murder, first degree assault, second degree assault, handgun on person, and use of a firearm in a crime of violence.
The trial, which lasted three days, involved allegations that Mr. Stevenson shot Vincent Stallings in a Nov. 8, 2018 incident on Hubbard Street in Cambridge.
Judge Brett W. Wilson scheduled sentencing for Mr. Stevenson on Aug. 19, 2019. The case was the result of an investigation by the Cambridge Police Department. State’s Attorney William H. Jones commends the work of the Cambridge Police Department for their investigation that led to the arrest and conviction of Mr. Stevenson.
The State’s Attorney also commends Deputy State’s Attorney Molly Fox and Assistant State’s Attorney Amanda Leonard who prosecuted the case.
