Members of the Rotary Club of Cambridge were joined by some friends in their most recent ramp build.
Sponsored by the Chesapeake Housing Missions, the Rotarians completed another ramp for a Dorchester County resident. Spearheaded by Rotarian Allen Nelson, workers included members Ed Connolly, Phil Reed, Dave Williams and George Fox, with assistance by Tom Barwick, Steve Kraftchick and Michael Franklin, president of Chesapeake Housing Missions.
CHM is a nonprofit organization that provides critical home repairs to low-income families in the Chesapeake region of Maryland. Most of the projects involve building wheelchair ramps to help give back independence. The Rotary Club is an organization working to make the community a better place.
