CAMBRIDGE — WHCP Cambridge Community Radio is hosting an open house on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. The station is located at 512 Poplar St. in downtown Cambridge.
During Saturday’s open house, the creators and hosts of WHCP’s music programs will be on hand to meet their listeners and fans. Each day WHCP offers a wide variety of musical entertainment including blues, big band, jazz, oldies, alternative rock, and Celtic.
Saturday will also be the debut of WHCP’s beautiful new 2016 calendar filled with award-winning artwork by local photographers. The calendars will be for sale for $12.
Members receive a free calendar and a Member Loyalty Card for discounts on local meals and merchandise. Go to whcp.org for more information about becoming a member of WHCP, or drop by the open house for a tour and to see what all the excitement is about.
WHCP provides more than 160 hours per week of quality programming. Sixty of those weekly hours are being produced at WHCP’s studios for broadcast at 101.5 FM in Cambridge, and for worldwide streaming at whcp.org.
