CRISFIELD — To celebrate Black History Month the Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District is planning an African American Art Exhibition from Feb. 7-28.
Art and displays depicting African American people, heritage or culture or by African American artists are being solicited with up to three pieces from all genres welcome.
Submissions will be accepted Feb. 1-3 by appointment, contact Brian Sutherland at briansutherlandart@gmail.com or Feb. 4-6 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Corbin Studio & Gallery.
The opening reception for the exhibition is Saturday, Feb. 7 and is free to the public. The gallery is located at 4 East Main Street.
