CAMDEN — Caesar Rodney High stayed unbeaten with a 3-1 victory over Smyrna in Henlopen Conference boys’ volleyball on Wednesday evening.
The Riders downed the Eagles by scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18.
In its second season, Caesar Rodney is now 3-0 in conference, 6-0 overall. Smyrna is 0-2 in conference, 1-3 overall.
The Riders were paced by Matthew Ascetta (16 kills, 1 block, 10 digs), Terrence Proctor-Rangel (3 aces, 32 digs), Aidan Webb (2 kills, 2 blocks, 34 assists), Andrew Victory (7 kills, 3 blocks) and Xylord Martin (6 kills, 1 ace, 8 digs)
CR and Smyrna are slated to play again on May 1 at Smyrna.
On Friday, the Riders travel to defending DIAA state champion Cape Henlopen for a 6:15 p.m. match.
