
DOVER - C. Paul McNamara passed away on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018.
He was born on Oct. 3, 1961 in Burlington, N.J., the son of the late William W. McNamara and Lorie Brannon.
Paul graduated from Dover High School, class of 1979, where he excelled in sports, playing football and baseball. In 1977, Paul was on the State Championship Football Team. At Dover High, Paul also met many life-long friends and the love of his life and mother of his children, Pam Moore. He was a passionate fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. He danced the Superbowl Shuffle with the '85 Bears and was lucky enough to witness the Cubs win the World Series in 2016.
He served his country with honor in the United States Army.
Paul became a successful business owner, owning multiple prospering businesses.
He was a family man from a young age and truly had a passion for his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Kenneth Moore, Sr.; and his niece, Hillary Johnson.
Paul is survived by his life-long companion, Pamela Moore McNamara; his children, Brad McNamara (Emily), Lindsay Odenwelder (Chad), and Ryan McNamara; and three grandsons, Grayson, Finley, and Deacon. He is also survived by his siblings, Arnulflo McNamara (Clarita), Gina Johnson, Ana Miluszusky (Bill), Alma Bartolomeo (James), Michael Brannon (Krystal), and Christa Brannon; his mother-law, Josephine Moore; his brother-in-law, Kenny Moore, Jr. (Connie); his sister-in-law, Paula Lawrence (Jeff); and many life-long close friends and family.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 12 p.m. Burial will be privately held.
