Bruce E. Williams

GEORGETOWN - Bruce E. Williams of Georgetown, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in Bridgeville. He was 58. He was born in Bryn Mawr, Pa., the son of Robert and Jacqueline (Shook) Williams of Stoneboro, Pa. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army He was a salesman for Sleepys, an estimator and salesman at Shore Fencing and also worked for the newspaper, The Fisherman. Bruce has been an active member at the Lewes Church of Christ, he preached a couple of times, lead a few small group studies, wrote several Christian articles and was currently enrolled in the Summit Theological Seminary where he was training for full time Christian Service. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Beverly Hoffman Williams; a stepson, Justin Davis; one brother, Jeff Williams and his wife Donna of Milford. A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at Lewes Church of Christ, 15183 Coastal Hwy, Milton. Please send donations in honor of Bruce to the building tomorrow campaign at the Lewes Church of Christ, 15183 Coastal Hwy, Milton, DE 19968. Burial will be private. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Milton.
