Bruce B. Beene

HARRINGTON - Bruce B. Beene, Jr. of Harrington, formerly of Chattanooga, Tenn. passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018 while vacationing in Mexico. He was 67, born to his parents, the late, Bruce and Geneva Beene.
He was an Army Veteran that served our country in Korea. He then worked at General Foods for many years. He was a long time owner of Oaks Tavern. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was proud of his Cherokee Indian heritage.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Easther Knight, Dorothy Combs, Douglas Beene, Dennis Beene, Hilda Stewart, Betty Cagle, and Carlos Bean. His long time partner, Lisa Rains.
He will be sadly missed by his two brothers, James Beene (Robbin) and Bobby Beene; his daughter, Jennifer Biddle (Shane); two grandkids, Austin and Ellie Biddle; and lots of nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will take place at the Moose Lodge 543, 16268 S. Dupont Hwy., Harrington on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. A reception will follow the services.
