MAGNOLIA - Brenda Perez passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, surrounded by her loving family in the Delaware Hospice House, Milford. She was 54. Brenda was born on Aug. 3, 1957, in McComas, W.Va., daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Dickerson) Carver. She enjoyed life as a homemaker and her hobbies included gardening, art and crafts. She also was a proud supporter of St. Jude's Hospital. Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Mario Perez in 2001. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Rigoberto "Rig" Perez; a son, Rigoberto L. Perez of Gaithersburg, Md.; a daughter, Rachael Antionette Perez of Newark; two sisters, Rhonda Martin of West Virginia, and Deborah Taggart of Milford; nieces, nephews and an extended family of friends. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
