DOVER - Brenda Lee Stelljes died Oct. 25, 2015. Born in Wilmington, Del, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Lidia Rhoades Blanchfield. Brenda had worked as Secretary for her family business, Stelljes and Sons Construction. Besides her work she enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, and in her quieter moments she was often found writing poetry and short stories. Brenda leaves her husband, Charles T. Stelljes of Dover, Del. along with her three children; David Loder and wife Vivian, Michael Stelljes and Anthony Cadiz, and her stepson, Chris Stelljes, all of Dover. Siblings; Dolly Anne Castillo and partner Dale Gragg of Dover, Del., Debra Bosiey and husband Jonnie of Magnolia, Del., Leroy Blanchfield of Felton, Del. She also leaves her four Grandchildren; Destanee, Davina, Danielle and Vanessa Loder all of Dover. Friends may call on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, Funeral Director, Inc., 1175 S. State Street, Dover, where Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover, Del.
