Brenda Kay Dalton, 62 MARYDEL - Brenda Kay Dalton, of Strauss Ave., Marydel, passed away Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. She was 62. She was born on May 28, 1946, in Laurel Creek, W.Va., to the late Hershey and Marie Fox Gardner. She was a member of South Side Baptist Church, Woodside. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with family, camping, and taking care of her six children. She also enjoyed church and loved the Lord. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Patty Harvey and Kathy Orange, and brothers, Jackie Gardner and Billy Joe Gardner. She is survived by her husband, James L. Dalton Sr. of Marydel; son and his wife, James L. and Stacy Dalton Jr. of Dover, son and his wife, Keith P. and Jaime Dalton of Dover; daughter and her husband, Janet L. and Charles Oman of Hartly, daughter and her husband, Mary R. and Shawn Pritchett of Hartly, daughter, Selena L. Brown and Tim Shannon of Sudlersville, Md., daughter and her husband, Lisa M. and Kevin Marsh Sr. of King George, Va.; brother, John R. Gardner of Marydel; sister, Elizabeth Dittis of Michigan; 12 grandchildren with one on the way, and four great-grandchildren with one on the way. Remembrance Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Douth Side Baptist Church South DuPont Hwy. Camden. Burial will also be Friday at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear at 1 p.m Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
