Brenda Joyce Mullins

FELTON - Brenda Joyce Mullins passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Mullins was born July 4, 1948 in Dickenson County, Va. to the late Beldon Fleming, Sr. and Maudie Sutherland Fleming.
She worked for Kent Signs as a secretary, clerk, receptionist and designer for 25 years. Mrs. Mullins was a member of the Delaware 4 Wheelers Association, acting as secretary. She enjoyed camping, bonfires, traveling across Delaware, racing the jeep she helped build known as the Golden Nugget, crafting by hand especially sewing, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Vivian Johnson; and brother-in-law, Jerry Johnson; son-in-law, Douglas Earls; and two nieces, Diane and Theresa; two granddaughters, Samantha and Amber.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth D. Mullins of Felton; daughters, Cynthia Joyce Bullock of Harrington and Sharon Mullins Earls of Winston Salem, N.C.; siblings, Gloria Jean Feist (Chip) of Baltimore, Md., Peggy Mullins (Beauford) of Woodford, Va., Barbara Tackett (Woodrow) of Pound, Va., Linda Kaye Sutherland (Kelley) of Clintwood, Va. and Beldon Fleming, Jr. (Debra) of Abingdon, Va.; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to American Lung Association, 131 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
