Smyrna - Brenda Ann Pressley passed away after a brief illness on October 11, 2014 at Christiana Hospital. She was born September 12, 1952 in Roswell, NM, the daughter of the late Master Sgt. Wallace Pressley and Maola Pressley, whom she missed dearly. She was a retired Officer Cook with the State of Delaware Department of Corrections. Her favorite pass times were bass fishing with her nephew, Wallace and great nephew, Austin. Brenda was with her loving sister, Belinda Stiltner and nephew, Wallace Pressley, III during her illness. She was also with her aunt, Ramona Pressley, nephew, Gary Stiltner, niece, Karen Dotson, friend, Rachel Dukes and dear best friend, Sandy Margist. She is survived by her sister, Belinda; aunt, Hiawatha Pressley Brown; four brothers and wives; a host of loving nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and neighbors. Also, her closest four companions, her black lab, Say Dee; and cats, Sunshine, Lucy and Tater Tot. A viewing will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 5 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Francisco Cemetery in Ashcamp, Kentucky.
