Bonnie Louise Geiger

ORWIGSBURG, Pa. - Bonnie Louise Geiger passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Health Network Schuylkill-East, Pottsville.
Bonnie was born in Milford on Oct. 13, 1942, a daughter of the late Sara (Hurst) and J. Laurence Cooper.
She was the wife of Russell (Rusty) D. Geiger. They married on Mar. 11, 1967.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church Schuylkill Haven.
Bonnie was a Seaford High School Graduate, Class of 1960. She attended Maryland Medical Secretarial School, and also Patricia Stevens Finishing and Career School. She was employed from 1962 to 1971 with WBOC TV as an Executive Secretary. She moved to Orwigsburg in 1982 and was employed by American Argo, Schuylkill Haven, until 1989. She also worked for Coventry Healthcare, as an administrative assistant, until her health declined.
In addition to Rusty, her husband of 50 years, Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Heidi, wife of David Yost, of Schuylkill Haven; and her son, Brendt, husband of Jennifer Groff Geiger, of New Ringgold. She is also survived by grandchildren, Ian and Ezra Geiger and Nate and Riley Yost.
Services are private at the convenience of family. Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg is honored to be serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA PO Box 332 Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972, in Bonnie's name.
