GEORGETOWN - Bonnie L. Briggs, of Georgetown, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was 64. Bonnie was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Clifton and Eulahlee (Palmer) Hutchins. She was a customer service representative for Comcast in Lewes for 25 years. She was a member of the Sussex County Homemakers. She is survived by her husband, Elmer Briggs; two children, Charles E. Briggs of Lithia, Fla., and Mark Briggs and his wife Rachel of Georgetown; two sisters, Ellen Bell and her husband Tom of Greenwood, and Jeanne Warnock and her husband Tom; and four grandchildren, Dylan Briggs, Kyle Briggs, Maya Briggs and Spencer Briggs. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
