Billy P. Brumfield MILFORD - Billy P. Brumfield, of Milford, died, Friday, July 2, 2010, at Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 72. Billy was born on February 28, 1938 in Hemphill, W.V. to the late Courtland and Grace Brumfield. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars, he especially loved the older cars. He loved his family especially his grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Porter, Louis, Eugene Brumfield. Survived by companion Freda Davis of Milford; seven children, Billy Brumfield Jr of Douglasville, Ga., Betty Ostermann of Denton, Md., Gerald Brumfield of Bridgeville, Michelle Wilson of Georgetown, Karen Johnson of Bridgeville, Greg Brumfield of Greenwood, and Melissa Parker of Millsboro; 13 grandchildren Tiffany Rogers, Todd and John Ostermann, Kelly, Katie, William, and Amy Brumfield, Samantha Parker, Megan Wilson, and Jacob and Eric Johnson; one great granddaughter Julia; one brother, James Brumfield of Brenton, W.Va.; three sisters Juanita Green of Elkton, Md., Shelby Pelfrey Brumfield of Columbus, Ohio, and Shirley Hatten of Harrington. Funeral services will be held on 11 a.m, Monday, July 5, 2010 at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 West Market St. Greenwood, Viewing will be one hour prior. Interment will be at St. Johnstown Cemetery.
