MIDDLETOWN - Billie B. Hamby, 77, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at Churchman Village in Newark. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Willard; six children, Roger, Michael, Bobby, Diane, Jerry and Mark; a sister, Lorene Hamby; a brother, Kenneth Brummitt; five grandsons; four great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters, and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Family and friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown, and on Monday, from 9-10 a.m., where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Townsend Cemetery.
