MILLSBORO - Betty Showell, age 68, of Millsboro, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2009. after a brief illness. She is survived by her mother, Genora Williams; children, Emanuel and Duralene; a nephew she raised, Carlos Hammond; brother, Sgt. Kenneth (Carol) Hodge; brother-in-law, Riceton Johns; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday at St. John's 2nd Baptist Church, Mt. Joy Rd, Millsboro. Reverend Annie J. Custis is the Host Pastor. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Friday, where a Homegoing Celebration will be observed in song, as well as from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday.
