Betty Louise Kent

CAMDEN-WYOMING - Betty Louise Kent of Camden-Wyoming, passed away Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Kent was born Jan. 5, 1951 in Dover, Del., the daughter of the late Mary E. Shields. She enjoyed gardening and working outdoors on her flowers. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Shockley and John Foraker. She is survived by a daughter, Tina Louise Kent and her son, Zac Wayne Morriss Kent of Magnolia, Del.; two sisters, Dorothy E. Burris and her husband Charles of Dover, Del., and Ruth Ann Shockley of McLean, Va.; and extended family members. Friends may call Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 from 1 to 3 p.m. for a visitation at the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna. Funeral and burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Faries Funeral Home, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, DE 19977, to help defray funeral expenses. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to all of her friends and family who expressed their support for her during her illness.
