Betty Lou Scott

CAMDEN - Betty Lou Scott died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at Kent General Hospital. Mrs. Scott was born Nov.29, 1942 in Trenton, N.J. to the late Delmar L. Boss and Helen Todd Boss. She had worked as a cafeteria worker for Caesar Rodney School District retiring in 2004 after 20 years. Mrs. Scott enjoyed sewing and bowling. She was a member of the Whatcoat Methodist Church in Camden, the Harvest Years Center in Camden, Modern Maturity Center in Dover and the Women of the Moose Chapter 1546 in Camden. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Carlton L. Scott, Sr. of Camden; son, Carlton Leo Scott, Jr. of Felton; brother, Delmar Boss, Jr. of Preston, Md.; sister, Rose Marie Johnson of Preston, Md and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
