Betty Jane Ireland

WOODSIDE - Betty Jane Ireland passed away on July 8, 2012, at Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was born November 29, 1931, in Clay County, Ill. She was the daughter of Ralph and Velma (Grove) Wattles. Betty was a cook at the Coral Reef, Hub and TGIFridays. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by six brothers, and four sisters. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Smith of Champaign, Ill. and Meril Hosick of River Grove, Ill. Betty is also survived by her five children, Robert Paul Ireland of Felton, Vickey Aileen Starkings and her husband Jonathan of Montgomery, N.Y., John Patrick Ireland of Woodside, Timothy Lee Ireland also of Woodside, and Beckey Jane and Sam Butler of Milford; two grandsons, Brett Butler and Lee Ireland; and two great-grandsons, Jessie and Brian Ireland. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Interment will be at Shouse Chapel Cemetery, Bible Grove, Ill.
