Betty H. Wilt, 99 DOVER - Betty H. Wilt, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, in Heritage of Dover Assisted Living Facility. She was 99. Mrs. Wilt was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Sept. 29, 1908. She lived in Ligonier, Pa., after her marriage to the late Harry G. Wilt, in 1927. They moved to Norristown, Pa., in 1953, and resided in that area until 1986, when they moved to Dover to be near their son and his family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Lt. J.G. Randal Wilt in 1976; her husband, Harry G. Wilt in 1990; her son, Harry H. Wilt in 2005; and her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Wilt in 2006. She is survived by her son, Charles E. Wilt and daughter-in-law, Doris of Dover; four grandchildren; Suzanne McKone and her husband Michael of Ocean View; Michele Rankin and her husband Christopher of Wyoming; Sandra Tinsley and her husband Kevin of Wyoming; and Chip Wilt and his wife Lisa of Dover; and nine great-grandchildren, Brennan and Jenna McKone, Jacob and Luke Rankin, Korbin, Kamren, and Jazmin Tinsley, and Max and Grace Wilt. Mrs. Wilt is also survived by her Heritage family who cared for her so lovingly for six years. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, in Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be private on Tuesday. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wyoming United Methodist Church Building Fund, 112 Broad St., Wyoming, DE 19934.
