OCEAN CITY, N.J. - Beatrice B. Sossich (nee Baker), age 92, of Ocean City, N.J., passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at her home. She was born in, and formerly of Philadelphia, Pa., she had lived in Fairfax County, Va. and was a resident of Ocean City, N.J., for over 35 years. She had attended Sumei Art School in Marlton, N.J. Beatrice had worked as a Administrative Assistant for the Federal government in Baily X Roads, Va., for 25 years retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church and the Garden Club, both in Ocean City, N.J., and a member of lkebana International (Sogetsu School of Floral Design). She was the beloved wife of the late, Gordon A. Sossich in 1999. She is survived by her son, Robert "Bob" G. Sossich and his wife Mary Louise of Dover. Her funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Ocean City, N.J. Burial was in Seaside Cemetery, Palermon, N.J. The family suggests memorial donations to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 North US Highway 9, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
