Barbara R. Rowe

DENTON, MD - Barbara R. Rowe passed away on Sat., July 27, 2013 at Easton Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on July 4, 1933 in Chambersburg, Pa. to the late Clarence L. and Elisa Brown Ramey. Mrs. Rowe was a 1951 graduate of Waynesboro High School. She married her late husband G. Leroy Rowe on June 4, 1956 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Denton and the American Legion #29 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, G. Leroy Rowe. She is survived by her three children, Tolbert Rowe and wife Jeanne of Greensboro, Elisa Ecklund and husband Charlie of New Prague, Minn. and Laura Harris and husband Marty of Denton; four grandchildren, Allison Bringman and husband Kyle, Kelsey Rowe, Maddie Harris and Henry Ecklund. Funeral service for Mrs. Rowe will be on Thurs., Aug. 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA. following in the service.
