Barbara Louise Knipping Vogl Dyson passed away on 6/4/26 with family by her side.
She was predeceased by her parents Otto Knipping and Clara Knipping (Loeffler), and by her two brothers William and Richard Knipping.
Barbara was the first employee of the Atlantic City Showboat Casino Hotel and held several positions there before moving into her role in Human Resources. During her tenor she traveled the country and even provided on-site support to the casino in Syndey, Australia.
She worked with the Showboat casino through its’ transition to Harrah’s. After retiring from Showboat she stayed in the industry and worked with Sugarhouse Casino in PA.
Barbara and her husband, Warner moved to Delaware in 2015, where she took a position on the community HOA in Magnolia.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 27 years, Warner Dyson; her two sons Tom (& wife Doreen) Vogl of Wexford PA, Jeff Vogl of Magnolia, DE; and their father Richard Vogl of Galloway, NJ. Also surviving her are two grandchildren, Kevin Vogl of Cleveland, OH, and Kailey Kelly (& husband Blaze Kelly) of York, PA; her step-daughter Theresa Dyson-Roby (& husband Don Roby) of Virgina Beach, VA; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, brother and sisters in law.
A private burial is planned.
