HARRINGTON - Barbara Jean Miller passed away on March 30, 2018. She was born to the late Carl and Kathleen Edwards Browne on Jan. 25, 1947 in Wilmington.
She graduated from Wilmington University with a degree in education and went on to work at Lake Forest School District until her retirement in 2009.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Browne.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Cord; sister-in-law, Barbara Browne; nephew, Michael (Shelly) Browne; niece, Amanda Browne; cousins, Dennis Bunty and Linda (Lee) Hoffheins; second cousins, Kimberly Deinema and Kris Bunty; as well as close friend, Jeannie Callaway.
A funeral service will be held at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Greensboro Cemetery.
