Balmer Edward Sinegar, 90

FELTON - Balmer Edward Sinegar, of Felton, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Kent General Hospital. He was 90. Mr. Sinegar was born Dec. 4, 1918, in Middletown, Pa., to Edward and Bertha Sinegar. He was a veteran of World War II, Korean and the Vietnam War, serving his country for 30 years, retired as a CMSgt. from the United States Air Force. Mr. Sinegar loved being with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Sinegar was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Helen May Sinegar in 2006; and his two sons, Richard in 1976, and Jerry in 2002. He is survived by his daughter-in-law with whom he lived, Anita Carter of Felton; three grandchildren, Melinda, Crystal and Richard Sinegar; five great-grandchildren, Dayvid and Danyelle Decker, Taylor Carter, Riley Scheers and Christian Sinegar. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday June 2, at Lakeside Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
