FREDERICA - Audrey I. Dale of Frederica passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at home. Mrs. Dale was born Feb. 26, 1942 in Milford, Delaware to the late Paul Kenton and Myrtle Wilkins Kenton. She had worked for Playtex as a cook and caterer for several years, the Mobile Gas Station in Little Heaven for several years , and the Harvest Years Senior Center, in Camden, Del. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her yard and country music. Mrs. Dale was a member of the Magnolia United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1994. She is survived by her son, John James Wilson and his wife Catina of Clarksville, Tenn.; daughters, Tina Hurley - Bates and her husband Donald of Dover, Terry Killen and her husband Craig of Felton; brothers, Bobby and Elmer Kenton both of Easton, Md. and Eddie Kenton of Houston, Del.; sisters, Doris King of Magnolia, Jean Hall of Dover, and Janet Martin of Smyrna; grandchildren, Carrie, Jamie, Alex, Breanna, Carleigh, Chase, Bryce and Hailey; great granddaughter, Isabelle and Lila. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 20165 office Circle Suite 2, Georgetown, DE 19947.
