MEDWAY, Mass. - Audrey E. (Miller) Hodge, 79, of Medway, formerly of Lincoln, Del., and Glen Burnie, Md., died Aug. 6, 2011, in Norwood Hospital. She was the wife of Thomas H. Hodge. Born in Baltimore, Md., Feb. 19, 1932, the daughter of the late Elmer and Freida (Dishart) Miller, Mrs. Hodge was raised in Baltimore and had lived for many years in Glen Burnie before moving to Delaware where she lived until coming to Medway four years ago. A homemaker, Mrs. Hodge had been a volunteer at Norwood Hospital and he previously been a hospital volunteer in Delaware. Audrey was an avid reader. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Rick Hodge and his wife Lynn of Atlanta, Ga., Kathy Brau and her husband Bob of Walpole, and Steven Hodge and his wife Terry of Medway. She is also survived by her brother, Gary Miller of Chestertown, Md.; and her sister, Frieda Teel of New Market, Md. She was the sister of the late Glenn, Lloyd and James Miller. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be held on Wed., Aug. 10 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber St. Medway at 10:30 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 11:30. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to St. Joseph Church, PO Box 557, Medway, MA 02053.
