LINCOLN - Audrey Cliffrae Jones, of Lincoln, formerly of Roselle, N.J., went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2012, in St. Maarten, V.I., while on a cruise. She was 77. Audrey was born Aug. 1, 1934, in Cranford, N.J., to Ruben C. West and Georgiana West. She retired from New Jersey Bell Telephone with more than 40 years service as a manager. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and Modern Maturity Center. She had a great zest for life and one of her greatest joys was to cruise. She also enjoyed dining out with friends, shopping, cooking, and reading. She also served in the Navy as a Wave. Audrey was preceded in death by her father, Ruben; mother, Georgiana; and stepmother, Louise West. She is survived by her brother Ruben West; sister-in-law, Dorothy West of Orlando, Fla.; her son, Norman A. Norcisa and his wife Grace of Camden; her daughter, Jacqui G. Jones of Lincoln; grandsons, Nigel A. Norcisa-Ruiz of Edwards, Calif., and Ambre C. Jones of Lincoln; and three great-granddaughters, Sandia Norcisa of Camden, Jada Norcisa of Incirlik, Tu, and Nylah Norcisa-Wiggins of Edwards, Calif. She shared fond memories with dear friends, Gertrude Rosenblatt, Roberta Alford, Ruth Pugh, Hazel Watt, and Rosa Whitney. Audrey will also be missed by nieces, nephews, many cousins, relatives and friends. Those who knew her best will remember her saying "If I can help someone in this lifetime then my life will not have been in vain." Her light will shine forever and be ever present in our minds and hearts.
