Ashley Marie Zak Call, 18 TOWNSEND -Ashley Marie Zak Call, of Townsend, passed away suddenly due to a tragic car accident on Feb. 9, 2010, in Townsend. She was 18. She was a senior bio-tech honor student at St. George's Technical School that she loved so much. She was a part time employee at Glasgow Deli in Dover as a delivery driver. She will be missed by many of her friends and family. She is survived by her mother, Marlane Zak, of Townsend; brother Andrew John Zak of Pennsylvania; sister, Brandi Nicole Zak of Townsend; her Uncle David Zak of Townsend; Aunt Brandy Zak of Chesapeake Beach, Md.; an Uncle Michael P. Miller and Aunt Jill Boutton, of Bradenton, Fla.; Aunt Shawna Mesick with her companion Sarah Whitney, from Rehoboth Beach; her grandparents, Vicki and Glenn Credit of Uncasville, Conn.; and Joseph Mesick of Dover; her great-grandparents, Sue and Nelson Mesick, of Smyrna; her great Aunts April Simmons of Smyrna and Monica St. John of Columbus, Ohio; a great Uncle Nelson Mesick and his wife Christine, of Camden; her niece Leianna Haynes and nephew David Michael Zak Jr. - they were her world and thoughts of them kept a smile on her face. She is also survived by many very close friends of the family, Natashia McClausland, of Dove, Florance, Anthony, and Michelle Hartman, of Bear, Charles Martin Little, of Dover, Kari Sale of Townsend, and Viola and Wayne Cason of Sandtown. Services will be 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 4 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to help defray funeral expenses may be made Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, DE 19977.
