As a librarian, I want to suggest that all Americans would be better informed if they would take the time to check the veracity of what they are hearing, seeing and reading, especially those things that are directed at their emotions and make them angry (“Recent Opinion on candidate options ‘misleading'").
There are two websites whose purpose it is to find the truth and deny the falsehoods. Many times, what we are told is a combination of part-truth and part-falsehood, but it is important that we all know that, as well. The sites are snopes.com/search and politifact.com. Take the time to be informed.
