HARRINGTON - Arthur "Art" L. Grenier II, age 52, of Harrington, passed away suddenly on Dec. 8, 2010, five days after his 52nd birthday of natural causes. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Anna Glidden-Grenier. He was a dedicated employee of IGT of Harrington and Ocean Downs for several years. Art is survived by his father, Arthur Grenier I of Dover, N.H.; brother, John Grenier of Dover, N.H.; sister, Cynthia (Fred) Wallace of Upper Marlboro, Md.; niece, Meagan Wallace of Upper Marlboro, Md.; fiancée, Mary Wright of Harrington; children, Indya Wright, Jennifer and John Reed; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Sunday, at Harris-Nock Funeral Home, 11528 Commercial Drive, Laurel. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Family members will be present for visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, at DE Veteran's Cemetery, Millsboro. Services of compassion and caring by Harris-Nock Funeral Home, Laurel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Home of the Brave Veteran's Association, Milford.
