Arthur Gilbert Collison Jr., 66

FRANKFORD - Arthur Gilbert Collison Jr., of Frankford, went home to bask in the glory of our Lord Saturday, August 22, 2009. He was 66. He was lovingly called "Junior" by his family; he suffered a short illness, but he suffers no more. Mr. Collision was born March 31, 1943, to the late Arthur G. Sr. and Pauline Willey Collison, in Milford. Mr. Collision enjoyed a trucking career, after he retired, trucking never left his blood. He loved the Lincoln Auction, a good yard sale, as well as life itself. Junior had a great sense of humor and could sit and tell jokes for hours. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and Dale Earnhardt. Junior is survived by a loving family. He leaves behind his sister, Charlotte A. Hannum of Frankford; an adoring niece, Amy McNatt-Russell and husband of Salisbury, Md.; a great- niece, of Salisbury; a great-nephew, David Lee Adams of Millsboro; and a trucking buddy, known as " Slow Motion", that he thought the world of and loved to trade those road stories with. A brother, uncle, and friend will be forever missed. Services will be private and at the discretion of the family. Junior would appreciate that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Many thanks to them as well. Arrangements by Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro. Letters of condolence may be emailed via www.watsonfh.com.
