Charges filed in Royal Farms attempted robbery in Dover

DOVER — A 31-year-old Wilmington woman was charged Friday in connection with an attempted robbery at Royal Farms.

Dover police spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said the incident at 293 Saulsbury Road occurred Tuesday at 2:31 p.m. Following an investigation, arrest warrants were obtained for Shakeira Heir.

She was charged with first-degree attempted robbery, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Ms. Heir was committed to Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution, New Castle, on $11,500 secured bail.
