MAGNOLIA - Arnold Arndt went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday May 18, 2014. Mr. Arndt was born July 24, 1938 in Eastern Germany. He immigrated to the United States in 1957. He married Helga Lenk on April 21, 1962. In their 52 years of marriage together they lived a full life with many travels and friends. He was loved by many and brought many smiles, this love was easily returned by those who loved him. Arnold had served 2 years in the United States Army. He owned his own business, Fill Rite, Inc a plastic manufacturing plant in Newark, NJ, and retired in 2006. Arnold is survived by his wife, Helga Arndt of Magnolia; daughters, Monika and Corinna both of VA; sister, Erika Hoffman of Germany and brother, Robert Arndt of Fla. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 6 to 8 Wednesday evening.
